Filly's Stable is a high end womens clothing and homewares store in Albert Park. The sister store of Stable, Filly and Mare is a client of Cocozou and we recently created their branding for the new store.
The two horses facing each other, one with a free flowing maine which represents the free spirit and the other with a knotted maine representing groomed glamour. These horses serve as a metaphor for the modern woman and her abilitly to handle the many different aspects of womanhood. The font is playful which is represents the stores flirtation with homewares and childrens clothing, with the S and B holes representing horse shoes to keep in line with the companies running horse theme.
The logo, cut out of copper features in the shop window as well as in reverse format on the entrance floor.
This beautiful Albert Park store is now open. For more information visit: www.fillystable.com.au

Green Pony is a clothing label in Melbourne. They wanted a decorative logo of a green horse. They presented us with images and artwork they liked for creative direction. We reviewed and considered all these pieces including an old postage stamp of a green horse and ended up with this gorgeous design. The logo is printed on the label's swing tags, sew-in's and clothing.

Catherine Bunton, a herbalist and natural therapist needed an identity to represent her as a qualified herbal medicine specialist. She felt that she needed some strong branding to attract passers by at her Albert Park practice and on her business cards.
After meeting Catherine it was time to develop an image that suited the person she is and the kind of service she offers while steering away from the generic and predictable pale green look of most natural therapist. Catherine likes bold colours and particularly fond of the Autumn season. So using Autumn colours and a large flower we blended that with a serious layout and text to subtlely put out an image of warmth yet get a message of qualification and trustworthiness across.
After designing and building the Divina Australia Website, we were asked to design their business card and have them printed. We used a small element of the web design in the back corner of the card.
The challenge with this project was getting their company colour printed accurately and after 2 failed prints through other design houses, we were particularly thorough with colour management and produced a brilliant result!

The pattern in the Filly and Mare logo is a vector illustration inspired by the vintage wallpaper in their store. This vector illustration is used throughout their stationery and even as a frame on the shop window. The Logo is pre existing and the same font is used throughout.
The Filly and Mare website was designed by Cocozou and is complimented every month with an E-flyer Newletter. The following print graphic designs were also created by us:

Demi knew she wanted a frangipani on her business card, so we developed a relaxing textured green background with a complimentary yellow font. The card was created and was a perfect representation of Demi. The project was seen through from design to final print.
This A5, 24 page booklet, was compiled for Project Respect Melbourne. It contains elements of artwork by Melissa Westermann, a Melbourne artist.

This 6 panel digicase was created for the Corona compilation CD "From Where You'd Rather Be", a pitch by Level Two Music, who wanted to show a physical sample of the compilation CD to entice the Corona marketing team to release a compilation CD under their brand. The brief was simple, create an image of somewhere you'd rather be, a beach lovers dream. The front cover (top right) is the image used in the existing Corona advertising campaign.
The top three panels are the outside cover with the bottom shoreline image being the inside of the CD case.
Sales pressers, sample street posters, tracklisting and merchandise design samples were also created for this pitch.

The main components of artwork for this project were already completed. Cocozou simply amended the details, removing parts and adding other texts including the stamp to denote the remix of the track.

Variations of this print ad for the Kudeta compilation CD featured in BNEWS, MX and SX magazines and newspapers.
Sales/Media Pressers are usually an A4 one page documents with details of the Artist or their release. Below is a selection of pressers...
